A Place To Worship

Dearly beloved brothers and sisters,

Today is the last Sunday we will be worshipping in Bible House. CERC started to worship in Bible House from July 1999. Thus, to the dot, the Lord has provided us this place of worship for 9 years. And now it’s time to move on to another place. We will greatly miss this place with its memories: both painful and joyful. And to close this chapter of our church life, we have a poem that describes God’s great faithfulness in His continual provision for His Church. We need to continue to trust Him by faith.      -         Pastor Paul Goh

A Place To Worship
Since 1999, we have been blessed with a meeting place,
Worshipping God, glorifying His name, seeking His face.
Gathering together as His people from week to week,

By His mercy and grace, His blessings did we only seek.
Looking back we know how hard at times it had been,
Facing godly challenges through all that we had seen,

Looking forward to a resting place to settle and no other,
Trusting Jehovah to lead us always as we looked for some other.
Thanking our Lord for all the time at the bible house we have had,

Moving forward now though at times it may seem a little sad,
Remembering how even Moses through the wilderness God had led,
Confiding in Jesus our Lord who does for us only good and nothing bad.

At another place and time soon settled we may be,
Depending on Him by faith we must wait and see,
Called to exercise patience and humility in this temporal land,
Let us rest in Jehovah and surrender according to His divine plan.
