The purpose of the
Mobile Prayer Support Ministry (MPSM) is two fold.
Firstly, we saw the great need to support one another in prayer.
We live in a world where none of us are being spared of the many trials
of life. We struggle with our health. We work very hard to earn a
living. We have emotional and relationship problems.
Above all, our spiritual life is bombarded with a host of temptations
from the world and the evil one. We need one another’s support in
Prayer.
The word of God in James 5:16 teaches us to confess our faults one to
another and to pray for one another that we may be healed. We must lay
hold of this precious promise.
Secondly, we are confident that through this Ministry, it will
strengthen our prayer and spiritual life. The wonder of prayer is that
it is a cycle of growth. When we pray, we will be able to experience the
power of God working His grace and mercy in the midst of His Church.
This will give us much strength and joy to persevere on in our life.
The Plan
First, we want to gather a group of people who are committed to this
Ministry. MPSM will go to the individual home that needs prayer support.
Potential visits to:

Homes
of members and regular visitors of CERC and FERC who need or request
prayer support.

Relatives of members and regular visitors.
·
The
sick in hospitals.
Frequency:
We will start with
one visit every two weeks. The frequency may increase depending on the
needs of the members.
Time:
Wednesday night (8pm
to 9.30pm)
Programme: Songs, short exhortation, sharing and prayer.

Our Request
To all members and regular worshippers: That you will devote a portion
of your time to this ministry.
To those in need of prayer support: That you humbly receive your
brethren and do not deny them and yourselves of the blessings.
The Blessings
We believe that there are great blessings awaiting us when we take on
this Ministry.
To the Prayer Warriors: Your faith will be enriched when you behold the
Grace of God working in the life of His people.
To those who are afflicted: You will be greatly encouraged and
strengthened.
The preaching of the Word will be more effective. |
